The DVR can store recorded video for 1 week to 1 year, depending on the frame rate, resolution and other factors, such as motion detection. All DVRs can be set up to record only when there is motion in front of the camera, This saves space on the hard drive and gives you more recording time on smaller hard drives. So when that truck gets to its destination and there is a discrepancy in the count, you have the proof recorded. The recorded video can be downloaded to a disk, thumb drive or stored on your computer.
