M&J Video installed a CCTV system at an apartment building in Sun Valley We received a call from the apartment manager that someone had broken into one of the tenents apartments and the police needed the recorded video of the incident. We downloaded the video from 2 cameras onto a thumb drive. One camera was a license plate camera which captured a clear picture of the license plate even in low light. The license plate camera is designed to filter out the head and tail lights from the car while adding infrared light to enhance the picture. The other camera was a Sony EX-View infrared bullet camera with a 3.6MM lens to capture a wider area and show a clear view of the model of the car. The search function of the Vitek digital video recorder made it easy to find the incident by imputing the time and date and using the fast foward and rewind buttons. With a 1 terabyte hard drive and set to record only on motion the DVR will store 1-2 months of recorded video. M&J has installed many video security systems in apartment buildings in the Northern San Fernando Valley in cities such as Mission Hills, Chatsworth, Northridge and Granada Hills.
