M&J Video was installing a CCTV System in Bellflower when our customer asked us if we could install an alarm system. He owned a 4 bedroom home and he wanted to alarm the front and back doors and the second story that contained all the bedrooms. After installing 6 cameras to cover the perimeter and 6 cameras covering the inside of the house, we added 2 magnetic contacts for the doors and a motion detector upstairs. The alarm parts can be wired into the digital video recorder (DVR) to an alarming input module so that everytime the door opened or there was motion on the second floor an email was sent to his Smart Phone. So when he was out of town or the house was supposed to be empty he could access his cameras, also with his Smart Phone or a computer, to see what caused the alarm. The nice thing about this feature? You don’t need to pay an alarm company a monthly fee to monitor your system and with many municipalities charging a fee for false alarms you can save money in more ways than one!
