Today M&J Video received a call from our customer at a self storage facility in Ojai . They have 16 cameras, a DVR and an LCD Monitor. This is a standard video surveillance system used for many self storage businesses. The manager wanted to have a tech come out and check the monitor which was blank. But before we sent a tech we asked a few basic questions to try and save her having to pay for a service call. So the first thing we ask is, “Are the DVR and monitor plugged in”? Yes they were. Most Video Surveillance Monitors have multiple inputs, Video, RF, VGA and sometimes more. Next check tho make sure the monitor is set to the proper input. With the manager using the remote control, supplied with the surveillance monitor, we told her to set it to the video input. That fixed the problem. The pictures came back on and our custumer saved money. We service and install video surveillance systems in Ojai and other cities in tne area such as, Santa Barbara, Santa Paula, and Fillmore.
