Got a new customer in Chino. We are installing a video door intercom. We replaced the customers door bell so now when someone rings they can see and talk to whoever is at the front door. The system has a video capture card to take and store snapshots in the monitoring unit in the house. The best thing about this job? We used the existing cable for the door bell to wire the video intercom. Saved installation dollars for the customer. We just made sure to get the right unit as some need specific wire. This one could be used with cat-5, 2 conductor or phone wire making the install simple.
